SYNOPSIS
In the first century A.D. significant events in Germania occurred which had a profound effect on the evolution of European history. Our protagonist, a man of uncertain parentage, born into the Cherusci tribe struggles with the physical and psychological consequences of these events using the social and religious tools available in his time and place. We follow his life from youth to old age as he is both an actor and victim in these turbulent times. Questions of justice and life’s meaning arise which demand answers. The desert journey to successful resolution of these issues is finally revealed to him.
