    For detectors use espace_kumac/e97111_det.kumac as explained in
    earlier halog.
    For general use espace_kumac/optics.kumac it creates the
    hbook file hbook/e97111_####.hbook
    with two ntuples which should have most of the variables
    of interest.

    Sometimes one gets an error message

    This means the HALLA_DIR isn't set .
