Accelerator requested we check our beam spot due to problem with beam spot in Hall B. We spent 1-1/2 hours trying to achieve a spot size (as determined by numerous Harp scans) of 100u x 100u and the end result is that we ended up with roughly the beam spot we started with (100u x 90u), rather than the one we wanted. This seems to be a recurrent problem - i.e. there is no established/reproducible procedure for tuning the spot to our specifications.
