It is difficult to evaluate how well the trigger is set without looking at
the "wrong" tc signal (the one that we could not correct a few days ago).
With the "good" tc signal (the one we can correct), the self-timing
edge screws up ones perspective.

based on earlier notes, it appeared we needed to choose a _higher_
momentum setting. so we did. Fig. 2 shows the same plot but now
with the new trigger setting. Indeed this is much better.
