fine minds need to jump on this and see if we can recover.
if not, what do we do.
first plot shows raw tdc spectra (or at least as raw as espace will deliver)
cut on four regions of tc_cor: 120-145 (ul), 145-170 (ur), 170-195 (ll),
and 195-220 (lr). Can clearly see nature of timing change as we get near
the end.

Also, see same effect in adc spectra unfortunately. Looks like something
is happening to the gates. My oh my. See figure 2.
